We are pleased to work with RESCU Solutions to offer customers an integrated capability for their contract packing needs,” said Mark Catley, GXO business development director, UK & Ireland. “Our Contract Packing Hub offers a competitive one-stop solution saving our customers handling and transport costs as well as the need to invest in a separate contract packing infrastructure. It also handles special gift packing orders.” 

Robert Ellis, co-owner, RESCU Solutions, said: “One key customer wanted a special edition whisky to be packed in small wooden crates with straw to replicate how the original bottles would have been shipped to the South Pole over a century ago. We’re pleased to deliver these kinds of benefits to our customers. If they have a unique packing need, we can create a custom solution just for them.” 

Another customer benefit is that the Contract Packing Hub has flexibility to meet planned or unplanned changes in demand. During the seasonal peak GXO and RESCU Solutions can adjust staffing support tailored to match specific key customer service requirements.
